Change a Life
ADRA Bahamas is a humanitarian agency that is committed to providing a positive impact to the communities we serve. The contribution you make right now will bring lasting change to communities in The Bahamas and around the world.
Your generous gift will provide empowerment through vital community development programs and urgent assistance.
Flattened, destroyed, washed away and pummelled are but some of the words that still come to the fore of many community members' minds directly impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
Quickly approaching the two year anniversary of this historic and deadly natural disaster, many are still in need of repairs to their homes, or in need of a shelter, as they are not able to rebuild on their own.
When we asked our community partners how we could help, we were told that people need shelter, even if just a shell.
In this second half of the year, ADRA is engaging in a Shell Home Construction Project. The goal is to provide storm-resistant shells to households in the Northern Bahamas urgently in need as a result of the loss of their home being destroyed by Hurricane Dorian.
We invite you to partner with us in our efforts!
Our goal is currently 30 shells, but with your generosity, we can help more families, to have one less thing to worry about in this hurricane season.
Your help is needed - the NORTH still needs us!

Education Isn't Equal for All
access to education is not always equal; the inequalities have been magnified as the world has had to shift to a nearly completely digital world at record speed!
This is an extension of our "1 for $110.00" initiative and Education In Emergencies tablet distribution which collectively has given an opportunity for ADRA Bahamas to distribute over 1,000 sim-ready devices all equipped with free data allowance over different periods and over 100 solar chargers to some of the the most vulnerable students.
We want to expand our giving, and can, with your help.
